Coach Czech
Coaching Achievements
Dennis Czech has been teaching tennis for over 20 years in various capacities. A longtime member of the United States Tennis Association and Pro Tennis Registry, Czech has coached at the collegiate level for Stonehill College and also implemented tennis programming in the Boston area.
While serving as the owner of the Easton Tennis Club from 1989-2010, Czech coached over 100 junior players, who went on to achieve sectional, collegiate and national rankings. During his tenure in Easton, he was honored by the community for including local programming for handicap residents and ensuring accessibility for the special needs patrons.
Czech has been a leader in bringing tennis to those who might not have had access to the game if he had not made it available to them. In just the last two years alone, Czech has served as a Site Director for Tenacity, a Boston-based organization dedicated to helping at-risk urban youth develop skills, build character and find pathways to excellence. He helped to oversee a staff of college-level tennis coaches and over 900 inner city at-risk students, with the goal of teaching them tennis and improving their respective lives. More recently, Czech has been teaching tennis as the Head Tennis Pro at The Stillman Tennis Center in Charlestown and as the Director of Tennis and Programming for Charlestown Against Drugs Tennis Club. Not only has he instituted all the tennis programming for both organizations, but also teaches tennis through an inner city public school pilot program that includes over 1,000 students from the elementary to high school level.
A graduate of Stonehill College, where he received a bachelor of arts degree, Czech also earned a masters degree in education from Bridgewater State University.
