September began with an unexpectedly strong showing by Americans at the U.S. Open junior championships and ended with the 16-and-under teams capturing the Junior Davis Cup and Junior Fed Cup. So it's no surprise that most of last month's dozen aces are either from the U.S. or have strong connections here.
