SPOTLIGHT ON Anika Joshi (Herndon, Virginia)
Music on your playlist: I like to listen to all different types of music, except for country. There is not a lot of country on my playlist.
Dream vacation destination: The Maldives.
Favorite food: Mac and cheese
Favorite athletes: Hsieh Su-wei and Roger Federer
Future occupation: I definitely think I want to do something in the math field. It’s my favorite subject in school and I think it is interesting.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Ruth Bader Ginsburg just because her life was very inspiring and she seems like a really interesting person to talk to.
Must-watch TV show: Peaky Blinders
Favorite movie: Penelope
If I am not playing tennis, I am … reading or hanging out with my friends.

Music on your playlist: Mainly country. I like Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen
Dream vacation destination: I usually go on vacation to St. Thomas, so I would probably have to say there. I love it so much.
Favorite food: Pizza. It’s the classic
Favorite athletes: John Isner, because he’s from Greensboro and I’m from Greensboro, and Jordan Spieth.
Future occupation: I probably want to get involved in real estate. A few of my friends’ dads do it, so I have talked with them a lot and they recommend it.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Rafael Nadal. I would talk to him about how he became so good and what his mental strategies are during a match. I’d want to get to know all his cheat codes.
