SPOTLIGHT ON Jolie Taty (Memphis, Tennessee)

Music on your playlist: It’s kind of a weird mix right now. I have some throwback like Bell Biv Devoe and a little of the Beatles too. The other genre I like is country music like Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood.

Dream vacation destination: Santorini, Greece for sure. I think it’s so pretty.

Favorite food: Pasta or Italian

Favorite athletes: Novak Djokovic. He is really interesting and I never just see him playing tennis. He is always on a bunch of ads and doing other stuff too. I think it’s really cool. I also like Ja Morant with the Memphis Grizzlies here.

Future occupation: I think I am heading more towards being an orthodontist or a dental hygienist. The whole field really interests me.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Whitney Houston because she did so much more than just signing and she also went through struggles in her life that not a whole lot of people know about. I would want to talk to her about things I may be going through or that she could help me with. I feel like she would be really good and useful for that.

Must-watch TV show: The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Favorite movie: The Jurassic Park series. I couldn’t pick just one.

If I am not playing tennis, I am … playing volleyball. I play for my school and we have a pretty good team. During the summer, I am in there for like four or five hours a day.
